Midomi.com offers a search for music based on users humming into their computer microphone the part of the song that they know. The software they use then searches out similar patterns and returns the closest matches.

I can’t wait to try this, I don’t have a microphone right now, so next time we’re near a microphone we’ll test it out with some songs. It’ll be good times.
