4D Roller Coaster in Japan Eejanaika

Surfing the web, I found a video of probably the wildest roller coaster I’ve ever seen. This roller coaster is in Fuji-Q Highland FujiYoshida, Japan.

It features 14 instances where the riders are inverted, and the seats themselves add a “4th dimensional” element as they are designed to spin forwards or backwards 360 degrees in a controlled spin.

So what I want to know is when are they building one of these in Canada?

Mathematical Riddle

Three guys get a hotel room for $30.00. They each pay $10.00. The manager tells the doorman that the rate is only $25.00 and gives him the $5.00 to give to the three guys.

The doorman gives each of the guys $1.00 and keeps $2.00 for himself as a tip. So each of the guys has now paid $9.00 for the room.

If $9.00 x 3 = $27.00 and the doorman kept $2.00 that only equals $29.00 ($27.00 + $2.00)!

Where is the other dollar?

Bride Ruins Own Wedding!

Couple Jilted at altar after wedding vow joke backfires

When a bride jokingly answered “no” instead of “yes” when asked if she wanted to marry her husband-to-be, the official performing the civil wedding promptly broke off the ceremony.

Not even the bride’s sobs could reverse the decision, and the couple has to wait 2 1/2 months before they could give it another shot, the Austrian newspaper Oberoesterreichischen Nachrichten reported yesterday.

Crazy Stunt Wins Darwin Award

From Ananova

Two students who died after climbing into a huge helium-filled balloon for the ‘buzz’ of inhaling the gas have been named the winners of the 2006 Darwin Awards.

Jason Ackerman and Sara Rydman, both 21, were discovered with their feet sticking out of a deflated balloon used to advertise property in LakeView, South Florida.

The two apparently pulled the balloon out of the sky and squeezed themselves inside, where they died of oxygen starvation.

The awards are named in honour of Charles Darwin and given out every year to people ‘who have improved the gene pool by removing themselves from it’.

This year’s runner-up was a man who flew his copper wire-bound kite during a thunder storm. The 26-year-old, from Belize, died after the kite sent a fatal bolt of lightning through his body. He was an electrician.

In third place was a Brazilian who tried to dismantle a rocket-propelled grenade by driving back and forth over it with his car.

When the weapon failed to break up, he attacked it with a sledgehammer. The explosion killed him and destroyed six cars and his workplace.
